This Friday we’ll focus on the sides of the legs, very important for balance, also during walking and running. And als for stability of the pelvis. We’ll work towards ardha chandrasana, half moon pose (which it is today..), where we will definitely become aware of these muscles and how they are doing.
Friday we’ll explore Virabhadrasana (warrior) I, II and III and variations. As the name implies, these empowering poses will develop strength and balance in your whole body, creating that warrior feeling.
Summer is here (according to the calendar..) so this Friday, in both classes, we’ll salute the sun! We will connect shoulders, back and pelvis and slowly work towards the basics of Surya Namaskar (sun salutations). This will put your body through a nice range of motions and leave you energized for the weekend!
